[edit] Steps

1. The Instructor has to be familiar with PowerPoint in order to operate or use Speechi software.

2. In order to get started, the instructor should stop by the IDC (Instructional Design Center), where they can look at a demo of Speechi on a Tablet PC before they start using it personally for their own courses.

1. Click on the "Add-Ins" tab in Microsoft PowerPoint (2007 version). The instructor can then click on the Speechi drop-down tab on the left for use. In Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, there is already a Speechi tab. Image:Main_tool.png

2. Under the Speechi Tab there are many selections, but the two most important ones are the Conference Mode, and the Studio Mode

    A. Conference Mode is used when transmitting data.

Ex: Video Conferencing Classes Here, the red button indicates the Record button by which the user can start recording his or her presenation. This is similar in both presentation modes

 B. Studio Mode is used when a certain presentation has to be recorded in a live course or a face to face presentation.

Ex: A lecture in a classroom can be useful for future purposes by a lecturer.
